Alameda
California, located in Alameda
County, is a smaller community located on the eastern
side of San
Francisco Bay. It is part of two islands
that share this side of the east bay with great views

Oakland, and San

beaches, an
excellent public school system, and classic, well
kept Victorian homes. There has been
a noticeable increase in population in Alameda

There are many bustling restaurants and shops
along Alameda's Park and Webster
Streets to visit. At the end of Park Street, where
Park Street dead ends into the beach, there is the Alameda

Alameda is a very desirable place to live in the Bay Area Real Estate market because it
contains the convenience of being accessible to the
entire bay area but has a small town feel that makes
this city very inviting. There are many activities in Alameda including windsurfing, sailing

parks to visit. It is also home to the Chuck
Corica golf complex and the
Alameda skate park located on the old Naval Air
Base at the west end of the island. Alameda was home
to the Alameda Naval air station until 1997 and much of the previous
base is now home to several small businesses and film
crews. The west end of the island is home to Rosenblum
Cellars and St.
George spirits well known for their Hangar

The public Transportation system is very accessible
to the locals here in Alameda with both service from
AC Transit (bus service) and ferry
service to San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. There
is also the Harbor
Bay ferry service to and from Bay Farm Island to
get around the Bay Area. It is also very accessible
to interstates 880/80/238 and 580. The commute to the
San Francisco Bay Bridge is relatively easy and Alameda is a great place to live for the commuter to San Francisco.
Alameda is a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
It is no wonder that many call Alameda home and it is
a direct reflection of the soaring increase in Alameda
