Orinda is an upper class suburban neighborhood
located just east of the Caldecott tunnel off of highway
24 from both Oakland
and Berkeley.

1924 and the Caldecott tunnel opening in 1937 to allow
easier automobile access from the outer Bay
Area. There are many things to do in Orinda
including the many hiking trails and recreational areas
to visit here. There is an active farmers market in
the Orinda village that runs from May
through November and Orinda is home
to the California Shakespeare Festival
held annually at the Bruns Memorial Amphitheater from
June to October. There is also the Orinda
film festival held at the Orinda Theater
featuring only the best in Indy films. During the summer
months there are concerts held on Saturday evenings
starting around 6:30 in the evening. Orinda
is a great place to take a stroll downtown with many
shops, restaurants, and a movie theatre all within walking
distance. These things make Orinda Real Estate
